Francis Yin is an upcoming Ghanaian track and field athlete. He is specialising in middle-long distance events. Yin was born on 10th April 1997 at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana but he grew in a village called Gorogo-Tongo in Bolgatanga, Upper East Region. He started his primary education at Gorogo Primary School in Tongo in 2006 – 2012 and later returned back to Obuasi to attend Rams Preparatory and Junior High School in 2012 – 2015. He proceeded to Navrongo Senior High school in Navrongo, 2015 – 2018. In 2018 he joined the University of Ghana and completed in 2020. Currently, a graduate holding an associate degree in public administration with a GPA of above 3.5. And also done with his national service.
