Commonwealth Games 2022: Alex Amankwah clocks 1:48.26 qualify to final – Ghana’s Alex Amankwah has booked a spot in the finals of the men’s 800m race at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The Ghanaian sprinter clocked in at a time of 1:48:26 to sail through to the final in the games. The final of the men’s 800m is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 7 August at the Alexander Stadium.
Ghana’s Alex Amankwah is through to the finals of the 800m at the commonwealth games. Time to revenge errors from the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon. It a well deserved for this man who has worked so hard this year to get to this point.
