The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) has announced the entry requirements for athletes competing in Mauritius 2022 African Senior Championships. CAA African Championships Mauritius 2022 entry standards for all the events.
The African Senior Championships was to be held in Algeria in 2020 but was postponed and later cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic (covid-19) outbreak.
In 2021, Nigeria step in to host the event but they also withdrew at the last hour which was not able to take place due to the same covid-19 insurgency in Africa.

Now, the championships will be hosted by Mauritius in 2022 from June 2 – 6.
