Patrice Neveu explained himself and fired back at the Ghanaian Players. It could be French and English languages are of different meaning and seems all different in our own understanding.
According to him, there is no word like “fair play” in French Dictionary.
He also quizzes the Ghanaian Lecturers to lecture him on the grounds of fair play.

Gabon coach Patrice Neveu on lack of Fair Play:
“I respect GH. ‘FairPlay’ is an English word; we don’t have it in French. FairPlay means #TeamGhana should’ve stopped trying to waste time and breaking the game. Don’t come and preach me on Fair Play. We saw a chance and we took it.”
“Football is a game with rules. The equalization makes sense in the game. “So there is no scandal screaming this side, Ghana after his goal to spend his time scratching minutes, they have no fair play lesson to give us,” Patrice Neveu, Gabon coach.
