William and Lariba dominate at Akim Oda

William Amponsah and Lariba Sakat have dominated in the 2022 National Cross Country Championship at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region. Interestingly both are all students of the University of Education, Education.

Both athletes are all debutantes in the National Authority Sports (NSA) – National Cross Country Championship – organised by NSA and managed by the Ghana Athletics Association.

William won the men’s 10km race in a total command lead from start to finish. The West African CAA Region II half marathon champion is ready for greater things in the upcoming African Games in 2023.

Lariba has been in fine form in the past 5 years and has never lost any competition. She is currently the reigning champion of West Africa CAA Region II 1500m and half marathon champion. William and Lariba dominate at Akim Oda.
