William Amponsah is a Ghanaian national athlete. He is specialising in middle and long-distance events respectively. He was born on 11 December 1999 at Agona Swedru in the Central Region to Mr. Albert Amponsah and Mrs. Josephine Amponsah. He attended both his primary and junior high education at St. Anthony Catholic ‘A’ School at Agona Swedru. He later continued his senior high education at Swedru School of Business from 2014-2017.
