Why can’t we take part in the National X-Country Championship – GAF Head Coach to NSA

According to reports, the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has been denied of taking part in the forthcoming of National Cross Country Championship which will be held late this month.

The NSA has successfully launched the event on Wednesday, 9th February at the Accra Sports Sports Stadium Media Centre.

The Director General of the NSA, Professor Peter Twumasi, speaking at the press launch on Wednesday, said the Athletes who would be selected from the championship would be groomed into elite athletes who will represent Ghana at any local or international competition especially at the African Games, Commonwealth Games and the Olympic games.

The Ghana Armed Forces’ Head Coach W01 Moro Salifu asks “if indeed is a national competition and we all want the best for Ghana Athletics, why can’t we take part in the National Cross Country Championship”?
