Tuchel benches Lukaku against Liverpool

According to multiple sports websites, Romelu Lukaku has been benched for Chelsea’s match against Liverpool. The kick-off is on Sunday, 2nd January 2022. Chelsea will be at their home ground to host Liverpool. Tuchel benches Lukaku against Liverpool in today’s crack decider game.

Belgium striker Lukaku stated he was “not happy” with his bit-part position under Blues boss Thomas Tuchel earlier this season in an interview that aired on Thursday.

On Friday, Klopp confirmed that three players, who have not been named, have tested positive for the virus.

Injury has ruled out Thiago and Takumi Minamino, while Andrew Robertson is serving the final game of a three-match suspension.
