Three Liberian Athletes Qualify For World Athletics Indoor Championships

Three Liberian athletes have qualified for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia in March. The three were all achieved at the Mondeville Meeting in Mondeville, France on February 9, 2022.

The World Athletics Indoor Championships is scheduled to take place on 18th Friday to Sunday 20th March 2022.

Ebony Morrison sets a new national 60mH record in 8.11.

Wellington Zaza sets a new national 60mH record in 7.62.

Emmanuel Matadi sets a new national 60m record in 6.52.

Liberia’s National Track Team has taken 2022 by storm setting new national records as they move closer to the World Athletics Indoor Championships.
All three athletes have qualified to compete in Belgrade, Serbia in 29 days – March 18-20.
