Asante Akyem Marathon Challenge 2021 medals are out now and it’s making the headlines today. The lustrous design of the medals is absolutely amazing and unique. The 4th edition of the Asante Akyem has won a lot of recognition from both the local and international athletes. Although the coronavirus has prevented a lot of foreigners not able to travel to Ghana due to restrictions. The race organisers about four days ago confirmed the registration of foreigners one from Italy and South Africa. The lustrous medals for Asante Akyem Marathon winners.

Although it was not stated that all participants will receive finishers medals but there will be free running vests for all athletes. Only the top 3 finishers will receive medals. The medals are actually world-class standards.

The male amateur athletes will compete in a 24 km race while the female amateur and juvenile athletes will compete in a 12 km race. The start of the male athletes is from Konongo – Agogo and the female and juvenile athletes will also start from Juansa – Agogo. Both distances will have a different start but one finish point.

One of the sponsors has promised to send the male winner (24km) to London. This trip is fully funded by ASGAB ROYAL TRAVEL CONSULT. We don’t have many details on whether he will participate in a race or just for vacation. There will be a white party after the mega event at Abrantie Spot in the evening at 8:00 pm prompt.
