Ghana was eliminated from the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon after a 3-2 loss to debutants Comoros on Tuesday, January 18. The entire country is extremely disappointed in the Black Stars performance – Ministry of Youth and Sports to Ghana Football Association
Only 24 hours after Ghana’s elimination, the ministry of youth and sports issued a statement expressing disappointment with the entire team’s performance.
The government, according to the statement, covered all of the team’s needs, including logistics and financial support, for preparation and participation in the tournament’s qualifying stage.

The Ministry has summoned the Ghana Football Association for an emergency meeting scheduled to take place on Friday, 21st January 2022.
