THE ASHANTI REGIONAL EXECUTIVES ELECTION

The Ashanti Regional Athletics Association is set to elect its executives and inaugurate the elected executives on Friday, 26^th November 2021. The event will take place at the Conference Hall, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi at exactly 10:00 am. The Ashanti Regional Executives Election.

According to the head coach of Ashanti Regional Athletics, Coach Koora disclosed to athleticshour.com that nomination is opened for all aspirants and forms have been picked by the various vacant positions.

“Chairman, 1^st Vice Chairman, 2^nd Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Organiser, Deputy Organizer, and the Women’s Commissioner”.

“Oh yes this is how we do it, the 2^nd vice-chair must be a female. In these elections not everyone can vote, we have special representatives from all the recognised institutions in Ghana on 26^th November 2021” said Coach Koora

Who is eligible to vote?

A rep from GES, a representative from Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA), a representative from the Colleges of Education, a representative from the Security Service, a representative from the Technical Universities, and reps from the National Sports Authority (NSA).

Submission of forms

He also added that the deadline set for the submission of forms is on the 19^th of November, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Failure to do makes you ineligible to compete for any position. He also said he wish and hope the voting ends successfully for the easier commencement of next season’s programs yet to be released after the executive elections.
