Tampoe Pupils Learn On Bare Floor

There is a harrowing trend in the Jirapa community where Tampoe M/A Basic School is located. In this school, students are seen visibly learning and writing on the bare ground in a classroom that can be described as a dilapidated building. Tampoe pupils learn on the bare floor.

Jirapa is located in the Upper West region of Ghana. The school in contention is a public school managed by the Ghana Education Service, GES.

One may be wondering if there are educational supervisors in such areas to be monitoring academic works so as to lift up the standard of teaching and learning in their quest to alleviate the plight of the learners acquiring skills on the littered floor.
