Sri Lankan Commonwealth Team on the run in Birmingham

Ten members of crisis-hit Sri Lanka’s Commonwealth Games contingent have been reported missing in Birmingham, at the games village.

Although all the contingent have successfully completed their events.

It’s suspected that about nine athletes and a manager are nowhere to be found, in an attempt to remain in England.

Reports suggest that three have been found so far, but the police said they have valid visas and they’ve committed no crime thus far.

They didn’t tell Team Sri Lanka their whereabouts.

This is not the first time the island country’s participants have pulled a similar stunt. In one case, a fake handball team made their way to Germany in 2004 and all the team disappeared.
