The maiden edition of Oti Inter District Cross Country Championship has successful come to an end. The championship was held on Saturday, 8th January 2022 at Dambai, the capital city of Oti Region. The race started from MIST Senior High School and through the principal streets of Dambai. Some notable areas they passed were the health centre, Zongo, Endless hotel, TT energy and later finished at the Lapaz park. Report: Oti Regional Inter District Cross Country.

Female Category

Grace Kombito from Krachi East won the women’s 10km in 46:41.90 seconds while Salisu Sirina placed second in 47:33.23 seconds and Benedicta Tamanja finished third 48:18.32 in seconds both Krachi Nchumuru.  Grace’s 46:41.90 time is the new Oti Inter District Cross Country Championships course record (CR) in the female’s category.

Nkwata South’s sensational athlete Nsalam Ndabi Jonas won the male’s 10km Oti Regional Cross Country Championships in 36:57.43 seconds while Peter Dzitse finished second in 37:01.14 seconds from Biakoye and Noah Dari from Krachie East settled at the third place in 38:08.26 seconds.
