WAFA showed signs of their past form after defeating Elmina Sharks 2-0 at home in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Report GPL Week 11: Elmina Sharks 0 – 2 WAFA as the West African Football Academy back thrash Sharks at home grounds.

WAFA extended their advantage six minutes after the break when Agyapong went on a solo run.

After receiving a pass from Emmanuel Agyemang Ofori, the No.10 approached the box and nutmegged the goalie.
