Ramata Abdulai The New Champion At Koforidua Marathon
Ramata Abdulai is a sensational female athlete from the High Morale Athletics Club. She is now crowned as the new champion at the 2021 Koforidua Marathon. Ramata Abdulai is the wew champion at 2021 Koforidua Marathon.
Ramata was out of the system due to injury for the past few months. She is among the pioneers and best long-distance female athletes in Ghana currently.
She is now at the Girls Models Junior High School at Nandom. She wrote her Basic Education Certificate Examination a few weeks ago. Although, she was not able to finish last year’s Koforidua Marathon but was determined to do something extraordinary.
Ramata crossed the finish line to win the women’s race in 3:20.14 seconds while Titi Rosina placed second in 3:21.40 seconds and Sherifa Moro also finished third in 3:26.59 seconds.
Both the females and males started together. The race started around 7:00 am and the sun was very hot in the early morning. They started from the Koforidua Sports Stadium and also finished at the same place The route was a single loop which covers the half marathon and twice becomes the full marathon.
