Preview of Meeting Lievin Women’s 3000 Meters

Ethiopian Ejgayehu Taye will compete in her second indoor race in a high-level tournament. Taye set her 5000m personal best of 14:14.09 in Hengelo and broke the Ethiopian outdoor record in the 3000m with a time of 8:19.52 in Paris in August.

The 22-year-old Ethiopian runner will face Dawit Seyaum, a world indoor 1500m silver medalist in Portland 2016, Fantu Worku, a world under 20 silver medalist in the 1500m in Bydgoszcz 2016, Zerfe Wondemagegn, a world under 20 silver medalist in the 3000m steeplechase in Nairobi 2021.
