Adidas, a well-known sportswear manufacturer, has created boots for Egypt’s Mohammed Salah to utilise at this year’s TotalEnergies AFCON. (PICTURES): Full  view of Adidas Salah’s personalised boots.

Salah, dubbed the “Egyptian Messi,” received his custom-made boots just days before the event begins in Cameroon on January 9, 2022. Since signing for English giants Liverpool, the Egyptian has been in sensational form for both club and country, thus his Adidas recognition comes as no surprise, albeit it is long overdue for some.

With worldwide sales of $25.6 billion, Adidas is only second behind American corporation Nike on the list of top ten sportswear brands in the world. Following the delivery of Salah’s first-ever signature boots, the brand is expected to grow in popularity.

Adidas sports wear brand is used by world class players around the world. The African market is very huge and the introduction of “fit for a king” will ignite the sales of Adidas products in Africa.

Mo Salah is cherished by most of the African countries.
