NSA organises e-ticketing training sessions for staff
The Dep. Director General of National Sports Authority(NSA) in charge of Administration Mr. Majeed Bawa today, March 11, 2022, led a resource team from Ghana.GOV on an E-ticketing training session.
This is an initiative of the vice president, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Mr. Majeed Bawa stressed the fact that NSA is introducing E-Ticketing in all of it activities, from sports to concerts and other important programs as well.
He explained that the government wants to operationalize it, starting from the Worldcup qualifiers match between Ghana and Nigeria to be held at the Cape Coast stadium on 25th March 2022. NSA organises e-ticketing training sessions for staff.
Also, there will be transparent monitoring from the NSA, Ghana Football Association (GFA), and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The leader of the team from Ghana.GOV, Justus Mensah, with demonstrations, emphasised the two categories, thus the E-SMS and the electronic ticket. He also explained that their piloting will be at Ghana vs. Nigeria match to ensure a smooth and effective delivery.
The Director-General of NSA, Prof. Peter Twumasi, on his part, embraces this initiative as one that will generate positive results and help curb the challenges ticketing has been posing. He strongly believes that digitalization is the future.
