NSA meets Executives of various Sports Federation in Ashanti Region

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has met all the executives of the various Sports Federations n the Ashanti Region to discuss matters of mutual interest in the sports.

On Tuesday, July 20, 2022, a delegation from the various sporting disciplines was invited by the National Sports Authority in the Ashanti region to have a discussion on the National Games as part of preparation towards the 13th African Games 2023.

The Technical Sub-Committee of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 13th African Games, as part of its preparation towards hosting and organising a successful African Games, working with the NSA intends to organise National Games from 1st to 15th October, 2022 in three cities namely; Accra, Cape Coast and Kumasi.

This competition which will involve the 16 regions, Security Services Sports Association, Ghana University Sports Association and Schools and Colleges sports will be seeing teams compete in the following sports disciplines; Arm-wrestling, athletics, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Boxing, Basketball, Chess, Handball, Judo, Karate-Do, Netball, Taekwondo and Squash

Covered many races in Ghana including ECOWAS CAA Region II Championship and multiple roads and track races in Ghana. In 2021, he launched the "Better Ghana Athletics Agenda", which will help support organisers, athletes and coaches in all directions.
