No Training on Friday 9 at Baba Yara Stadium in Honour of Late Coach Tee Adjei – ARAA
In commiserating with the family of the late Nana Francis K. Adjei (Coach Tee Adjei), the Ashanti Regional Athletics Association (ARAA) has issued a strong statement to all coaches and athletes in the region and it environs that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be closed down on Friday, 9th September 2022.
The one week celebration of the late Coach Tee Adjei is slated on Friday, 9 September 2022 at his residence, Anlo Fante New Town, behind the Calvary Methodist Church, Amakom, Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
The ARAA is calling on all coaches, athletes and sports lovers to come and support them for the one week celebration of the late Coach Tee Adjei.
With respect to the one week celebration, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be closed on Friday 9 to honour our great late Coach Tee Adjei.
“On Friday, 9 September 2022, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium (the athletics track) will be closed down and no athlete or coach would be allowed to train there. We are using that day, just a day, to honour the late Coach Tee Adjei”, Mr. Paul Tuffour (Coach Koora) said.
The late Coach Tee Adjei went on retirement about 15 years ago but he was seen everyday on the track training and advising coaches/athletes.

Indeed Ghana has lost a great man in sports especially athletics.
The one week celebration will commence at 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, all friends and sympathisers are cordially invited.
