Ghana played its maiden opening game of the African Cup of Nations against Morocco and they lost by a lone goal and football fans believed that is because of DUMSOR (a situation where power cuts off and back for several times in a day).

The football followers of the Ghana Black Stars are accusing the Electricity Company Of Ghana (ECG) for been the brain behind the defeat of the national team yesterday.

The Ghanaians have laid the blame on the company for killing their morales when they were fervently gearing up for the game yesterday. They faulted the institution mainly because, the company turned off the power a few hours to the commencement of the match yesterday.

Many began raining innuendos and unpalatable words on both ECG and the Black Stars when the light went off yesterday.

They blamed the power supplier simply because, the company dumped their full spirits behind the team when they switched off the power before the starting of the game.

But, whatever the case may be, they are hoping that fortune will smile at them in the cause of the other standing games to be played.
