Nandom to Host Maaron Championship 2022

Ghana, Upper West Region, Wa, Nandom District has been chosen to host the maiden edition of the 2022 Maaron initiative Championship.

The championship will be centered mostly on the young females in the Upper West Region and its environs. The event is a road race which is divided into two – 5km for pupils and 10km for senior high schools with the mass participation. read more

History about Nandom

Nandom is the capital town of the Nandom Municipal of the Upper West Region of Ghana. Nandom town and the multiple villages that surround it to the north, south, east, and west are inhabited by Dagaara people. Nandom ranks among the most peaceful towns in the Northern sector of Ghana.
