Nairobi 2021: Benson Kiplangat Wins Men’s 5000m World U20 Championship

Kenya’s Benson Kiplangat made history today after winning the men’s 5000m with a new personal best in 13:20.37 in the World Athletics Under 20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya. While Ethiopia’s Tadese Worku also won the silver medal in 13:20.65 and another home-based athlete Levy Kibet won the bronze medal with a new personal best in 13:26.01.
