NACAC Championships Men’s 100m Final Results

Ackeem Blake from Jamaica prevailed in the men’s 100m at the NACAC championships on Saturday afternoon at Grand Bahama Sports Complex in Freeport, Grand Bahama. He clocked a new championship record of 9.98 secs (-0.4 m/s) to finish ahead of American sprinters Kyree King who ran 10.08, and Brandon Carnes, who stopped the clock at 10.12 to take bronze.

“I feel really great winning this final. I just listened to my coach and executed my race like how he taught me in training, and just did that. So I am really proud of myself,” Blake said.

Blake improved the previous championships record of 10.03, set by compatriot Tyquendo Tracey back in 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
