Na Who Do You Think You Are Lying To? A concerned fan disagrees with the statement “Ghana the Sprinters Hub Nation in Africa”

His name is unknown but he continued to ask further questions about the state of Ghana Athletics currently. Most of the coaches, managers, athletes, and fans are not happy with the current state of athletics in Ghana. Does it mean that the general public is disappointed in the current administration?

Yup. Your post is well-meaning but it isn’t exactly factual. You use statements like ‘most’, 90%, ‘many occasions’ but you don’t support them with statistics or facts. If you were asked to prove these things you’re mentioning, we would see that not much is actually being done in Ghana to promote track and we all know it. You say we have produced the ‘best sprinters in the past 15 years in West Africa’. This is untrue.  Na who do you think you are lying to? We have had many talented athletes that deserve recognition but let’s but honest. Statements like these need to be backed with titles and records that everyone can see. We don’t have those. We all like that hype but let’s be honest with what we actually have or else we can’t change anything.

You know the coaches. Ask them.
