“My Philosophy in Coaching is to Help Everyone”  – Coach Boniface on Maaron initiative project

“My Philosophy in Coaching is to Help Everyone”  – Coach Boniface on Maaron initiative project – Boinde Segme Boniface popularly known as Coach Boniface, a renowned athletics coach in Ghana has disclosed his philosophy in coaching. According to him, sports is for everyone and it helps to eradicate poverty, especially among those from poor homes.

Coach Boniface who is a part of the organisers of the upcoming Maaron initiative was talking to one of the journalists on Tumpani 88.5 FM in the Upper West Region and said a lot about how sports has been able to eradicate poverty in the Northern sector of Ghana.

“My philosophy is to help poor people in my coaching. I pay for their school fees, buy them clothes and travel a lot across the country. We always travel to train because we don’t the facilities in the Upper West there. For our athletes to match other athletes, we have to go to where we can all the required equipment like gym, tartan track, swimming pool, and hills for training”, he said.

According to him getting a future job for the athletes is his major priority as a coach.
