The Marvellous Athletics Club has been one of the newly running clubs in Ghana and it has been in existence for a couple of years.

Marvellous Runners Club is based in Winneba in Central Region. The club is notably for unearthing and nurturing and developmental of young athletes especially the youths in Ghana. Marvellous Runners club confirms participation at GAF x-country.

According to the Head Coach of the , Mr. Gideon Ahumah  The club has confirmed its participation in the upcoming maiden edition of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Cross Country Championship.
“We are coming to Accra to take part in the Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country Championship. Our training is going on well and hope they will perform very well.

They are very young and I want to introduce them to competition like this so that they will not panic when they meet the seniors in other races. Its a also another way to try and see how they are adjusting to the workload” said Coach Gideon Ahumah.

How to become a distance Kenyan champion 

The Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country Championships is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th January 2022. The event will be held at the Air Force Gold Park in Accra, Greater Accra Region.
Registration is already in progress and is open for all professional and non professional athletes.
