Manson Greenwood Granted Bail Today – Reports

Mason Greenwood has been granted bail today pending further investigations.

Greenwood, a Manchester United footballer, was arrested on suspicion of raping a woman and released on bail.

On Sunday, the 20-year-old was also detained on suspicion of assault after claims surfaced on social media.

On Tuesday, he was detained again on accusations of sexual assault and making death threats.

Manchester United had already stated that the forward would be unable to practice or play until further notice.

Greater Manchester Police said the player was arrested after the force “became aware of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence”.

According to the report, magistrates had granted a second extension to keep him in detention until Wednesday, but he had since been released on bail pending additional investigations.

Manchester United official statement. “Manchester United reiterates its strong condemnation of violence of any kind. As previously communicated, Mason Greenwood will not train with, or play for, the club until further notice”.

Meanwhile, the reports say he has been removed from FIFA 22 by the EA Sports company.
