Madrid 2022: Preview of Women’s 400m World Athletics Indoor Tour Meeting
With a season best of 51.40 recorded in Torun last week, reigning Olympic 4×400 mixed relay winner Justyna Swiety Ersetic heads a strong field in the women’s 400 meters.
In Berlin 2018, the Pole won the European outdoor 400m and 4×400 relay titles, as well as two silver medals in the 4×400 relay at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade 2017 and Glasgow 2019.
The line-up also features Phil Healy from Ireland, who clocked 51.74 this year and won the national indoor title with 51.75 last weekend, Juste Morauskaite from Lithuania, who set the national indoor with 52.02, and the last two Spanish champions Laura Bueno (52.77) and Auuri Lorena Bokosa (52.90).
