Madrid 2022: Preview of Men’s Triple Jump World Athletics Indoor Tour Meeting

Jordan Diaz of Cuba, a former under 18 and under 20 champion, will make his third appearance this winter. In the Spanish city of Salamanca, Diaz established the world record of 17.27m.

He will compete against Lazaro Martinez of Mexico, who jumped 17.21 meters in Liévin, Max Hess of Germany, who won the European outdoor gold medal in Amsterdam 2016 and the European Indoor bronze medal in Torun 2021, and Andreas Pantazis of Greece, who won the World Indoor Tour meeting in Karlsruhe with a leap of 16.79 meters.
