Lausanne Wanda Diamond League Shot Put Men Official Result

Ryan Crouser from the United States won the men’s shot put in a meeting record in 22.81. New Zealand’s Thomas Walsh finished second in 22.10 while Filip Mihaljevic from Croatia in third in 21.37.

Ryan said “I am feeling really good today and appreciate taking the win. It wasn’t an easy competition as Tom Walsh put good pressure on me in the final round but I was able to come out on top.”

Tomas Walsh from New Zealand said, “it was a good result, good competition for me. The weather was very good cold but the great crowd made up for it. I was able to put pressure on Ryan”.

Filip said, “I am not happy. It was amazing to have a crowd again and see all the people. It is the best takeaway of the competition”.
