Marco Arop said, “great to get the win today, not including the “rabbit” I led from the start to finish. I was a little concerned about going out too fast but I found the strength to finish well and get a good time. I see what Aaron and Andre are doing in the sprints and I’m happy that we can help to make Canada relevant again on the track.”

“It was nice. I did my best. With the crowd, it is really nice. After my medal at Worlds, an Olympic medal was a real pleasure for my career. In 2016 I just missed out on the medal. So now am happy with the Silver” said Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich.
