Lamont Marcell Wins The Olympic Men’s 100m Final
Lamont Marcell Jacobs is now the new Olympic 100m champion with a new European record. Lamont Marcell from Italy has been crowned the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games champion. He was a pre-race favorite during a tremendous performance during the semifinal. he broke the European 100m men’s record during the semis. He won the European men’s 100m championships a couple of weeks ago.
With a sensational run, Lamont breaks his own European record he set during the semifinals with a time of 9.80 seconds to claim the gold medal ahead of United States Fred Kerley took the silver medal in a time of 9.84 seconds, and the Canadian wonder kid Andre De Grasse also took the bronze medal in a time of 9.89 seconds.

Zhanel Hughes was disqualified due to a false start while the Nigerian new speed king Enoch Adegoke also had a muscle strain at the 50m barrier. Interestingly all the finalists run under 10 seconds.
