Ghanaian athletes who are studying overseas have already began their indoor season championships. Most of the Ghanaian students-athletes are are always on the lead and making headlines in every meet. They have been representing their universities all times in the cross countries, track and field events.

During the weekends there were some Ghanaian athletes that opened up their indoor season.

Tokyo Olympian, Joseph Manu, wins 2022 HBCU Showcase indoor 60m title with a 6.73 secs clocking.
Our record holder in the long jump Deborah Acquah was also in action.
Deborah Acquah opens her 2022 indoor season with a distance of 6.43m in the long jump.

Jeff Hammond competes in his first ever 60m dash and he placed 3rd in his heat in 6.98 seconds
