Ghana’s 4×100m female relay team are products of GNPC Ghana Fastest Human Meet – Coach Koora discloses

The Ghana 4×100m female relay team that will be competing at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham are all products of the Ghana Fastest Human Meet project statement from Coach Koora.

The quartet is made up of Mary Boakye, Latifa Ali, Gifty Oku and Hor Halutie.

The next GNPC Ghana Fastest Human Meet is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 27th August 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the Central Region. read more

“All the quartet run the GNPC Ghana Fastest and won medals in their respective years in the 100m dash”, Coach Koora – Ashanti Regional Athletics Association Technical Director.

Gifty Oku won the female u15 category

Mary Boakye won the u18 category

Horlutie Hor and Latifa Ali both also won the seniors categories.

A relatively new women’s 4x100m relay team from Ghana.

This is the order of run today…

Mary Boakye➡️Latifa Ali ➡️Gifty Oku➡️Hor Halutie

Hor and Latifa are both students of Coppin State University while Mary (Ghana Armed Forces) and Gifty (University of Education, Winneba) are locally based athletes.
