In the old days, some celebrities in Ghana became known by comedian acting , singing local songs and others. Meanwhile , though some became celebrities by their talents ,they also lost their career at a very early peak.

Some celebrities like :

Nkasei: The hiplife duo, Nkasei consists of Kwame Godlove Yeboah Prah (Shy) and Isaac Mensah . They met at a rap festival at Nima in 1995 and realizing the potentials in each other, they got together as a group. In 2000, after getting a producer they signed on the Abib Records for their first album.

They eventually travelled outside the country. Later on, their career wasn’t heard anymore.

*Kontihene: Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng known by his stage name Kontihene is a Ghanaian hiplife musician. ‘Aketesea’ from his debut album Nyankonton won the Song of the Year Award during the 2003 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. One day, roused up one day to quit music for reason unknown to the net.

*Kyeiwaa:  She is a kumawood actress whose acting skills wasn’t known after she got married to American personality.
