Ghanaian Athlete Emmanuel Agbesi Secures Scholarship to Study at Kingston University

Ghanaian Athlete Emmanuel Agbesi Secures Scholarship to Study at Kingston University – Ghanaian sprinter athlete Emmanuel Agbesi Tay has successfully secured fully funded sports scholarship to study at Kingston University, United Kingdom (UK).

He has been offered admission to study in the Kingston University as a sport student to offer the program of Bsc in Computer Science from June 2022 – November 2025. read more

In 2019, Emmanuel completed his senior high school at Sekondi College in Western Region. He was the sports prefect in his school and in the year 2019, he was voted as the best athlete in their final year inter-house competitions.  In 2021, he was admitted to study at the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Volta Region.

Emmanuel was not able to compete in many races after he completed senior high school because of a motor accident he had and sustained some degree of injuries. He has recovered now and training again.

He competed in the 2017 Accra International Marathon in 10km and placed third (3rd) overall in the men category. He completed the 10km route in 38:54 seconds. read more

Emmanuel has a new challenge in his athletic career and academics as well. He is ready to raise the flag of Ghana high in the UK.
