Ghana Secures a Final Spot in Men’s 4×100m Relay at World Athletics Championships – The Ghana 4×100m relay team has successful secured a final spot at the on going 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, United States.

The Ghanaian quartet finished third in heat 1, with a season best time of 38.58s, which gave them an automatic qualifying spot in the men’s 4x100m final.

Ghana have a woeful recent record in the men’s 4×100 metres relay but their quartet got the job done in Friday’s heats at the World Championships despite the individual events disappointment.

Ghana’s team finished behind the United States of America and United Kingdom.

Sean Safo-Antwi, Benjamin Azamati, Emmanuel Oduro-Manu, and Joseph Paul Amoah, the Ghanaian quartet, will, however, be aiming to beat their time in Saturday’s final.

They are drawn in lane 8 in the final.
