According to Dr. Nyaho, the team should be dissolved, and a new coach should be appointed, who should be given the freedom to select the players he believes will produce. Ghana Black Stars Team Should Be Dissolved Completely – Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe to GFA.

Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, the former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, has proposed that the current Black Stars team be disbanded and reassembled immediately following their poor performance at the TotalEnergies Afcon 2021 in Cameroon.

This comes after Comoros defeated Ghana 3-2 on Tuesday, January 18 to knock the team out of the competition.

When asked whether Ghana should get new set of players for the Black Stars on Good Evening Show on Metro TV on Tuesday January 18, the board of Accra Hearts of Oak said “Absolutely, that is what should be done now because what I saw this evening was so disturbing“.

He added that

You can see that for the first time we have players who were not focusing on what they were doing because some of the goals that came in are very disturbing. If you have a good defense and you are really focused some of the balls will not get in the net at all.

“I believe strongly the Black Stars itself should be dissolved completely and then we hire a very competent coach. Such competent coach should be given the opportunity to select the boys himself and also this must be done very quickly because I believe next year, we are going to have another AFCON”.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe also said that, although being a key figure in Milovan Rajevac’s first relationship with Ghana – the Black Stars – he was not in favor of his’second arrival’ due to the Serb’s first departure from the squad. He also stated that he believed Milovan would never have an impact on the team, even before his second visit to the country. Milovan lacked the competence, in his opinion, to create and lead a Ghana group capable of making a statement at the tournament, casting doubt on the reason behind his appointment by Ghana’s football administration.
