Ghana Armed Forces X-Country Updates

The maiden edition of the Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country Championships is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th January 2022. Ghana Armed Forces x-country updates.

According to the race organisers, letters has been sent to all the other security services in the country and they are keen that the Sports Directors will honour their invitations. On the other hand too, they are expecting athletes from all the 16 regions in Ghana to participate in the event.


The head coach of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Athletics Team, W01 Moro Salifu said “currently letters have been sent to all the security services, various universities and expecting athletes from all the regions to take part in the maiden edition of the GAF Cross Country Championship. We would be expecting athletes from all the athletics clubs and individuals can also register and take part”.


According to him registration will be opened soon and working with the Ghana Athletics Association to have a very successful event. Although he didn’t specify on the actual date that registration will be opened to the general public but assured it wont take long.

“We are expecting about 1000+ athletes in this maiden edition”, he added.
