GFA Exco to meet on Wednesday – GFA Communications

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council (Exco) will meet on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, to examine the Black Stars’ future after their disappointing performance at the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
This year’s AFCON saw the Black Stars compete, although they were unable to go past the group stage after failing to win a single game in Group C.

A lot of the media outlets have already announced the dismissal of the head coach Milovan Rajevac but the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has not commented on the said issue.
With the team now back in Ghana, the Ghana FA issued a statement today stating that it expects reports on the AFCON campaign from the technical staff as well as the management committee.

“The Technical and Management reports of the Black Stars from the Head Coach and the Management Committee respectively are expected to be submitted to the Association by close of business Tuesday, January 25, 2022,” parts of the GFA communique has said today.
Our close source hinted that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has informed the GFA that they won’t pay the $30,000 monthly salary so they should sack the coach if not the GFA should rather pay him.
