GDSF to take part in 2022 Deaflympics Games in Brazil

 

The Ghana Deaf Sports Federation (GDSF) has officially declared their participation in the 24th Deaflympics Games scheduled Brazil from 1 to15 May, 2022.

 

Mr Kinsley Ansah, Vice President of the Ghana Deaf Sports Federation (GDSF) called on Ghanaians to join hands in raising the standards of deaf sports.

“The Ghana Deaf Sports Federation has groomed many talents with respect to sports, be it volleyball, football, taekwondo, and athletics but lacks the support”, he said.

He urged corporate organizations and the media to support in promoting them.

 

ASA Plus Destinations is the official conveyer of the contingent who would be representing Ghana at the Deaflympics.

Their General Manager, Mr Abraham Sarbeng said it’s time to support the Ghana Deaf Sports Federation to reach higher heights.

 

“Deaf isn’t a disability and persons who are sound impaired can still exploit it”, he added. He, therefore, expressed his pleasure to partner with the Ghana Deaf Sports Federation.

The media event (Press Conference) took place at the Ange Hill Hotel at East Legon.
