GAF’s Athlete Titi Rosina wins Maaron Championship Women’s 10k
Ghana Armed Forces’ athlete Titi Rosina has set the whole of the Upper West Region ablaze after winning the inaugural edition of the Maaron Championship women’s 10km in a time of 37:22.68 seconds (course record) on a brightly Saturday morning in Nandom.
Both males and females started together and Titi managed to finish 6th overall of about 150 participants. Her running style marveled the people of Nandom as they were amazed for a lady to out ran some of the big boys in the race. She also placed third in the first edition of the 2022 Accra Inter City Homowo Marathon.
She was cheered by the fans as she cruised to the finishing line. Titi is also a student of the University of Cape Coast and a member of the High Morale Athletics Club.
Segbobr Belinda a student of Nandom Model Girls also finished second in a time of 39:10.41 and Abdulai Ramata placed third in 39:22.69. All the top three athletes are members of the High Morale Athletics Academy based in Nandom, Upper West Region.
