GAF XC is a host and win event – GAF Athletics Team

The Ghana Armed Forces Athletics Team says – GAF cross country championship is a host and win event – can they deliver their promise as all eyes will be there tomorrow to witness history.

The maiden edition of the Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country Championship is about to be written into the history books in Ghana Athletics.

The determination and the ever doing spirit to win the competition is over whelming. This time is not individual basis but we go in as a team. That’s the team power here all effort is required from each and individual.

There has been a heated debate as which institution, team or service have the best athletes in the country.

This will be the first time ever that all the running clubs, regional teams, services, individuals, tertiaries and all institutions will be meeting in a single race to challenge for a trophy.

The host team has declared that the championship is a host and win affair for both categories. The GAF team won the maiden edition of the Good Day Energy Cross Country Championship at Aburi, Eastern Region.

The event is slated to take place on Saturday, 29th January 2022 at the Air Force Golf Park in the Greater Accra Region.
