Registration has now opened for the maiden edition of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Cross Country Championship. Arguably this will become the biggest cross country race in Africa in the coming years.

The Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country championship comes off on 29th January 2022 in Accra in the Greater Accra Region. The men will run a 10km and women 8km loop course at the Air Force Golf Park Time: Confirmation of registration is at 6:30am and the race starts at 8am.


The championship is open to everybody who is deemed fit to compete, according to the standards of the Ghana Athletics Association.

Closing date for registration: 25th January 2022 11:59pm PRIZES There would be prizes for individuals and Teams For team prizes, the first four athletes from each team will be scored and the winning team will receive a Trophy. Best male team and best female team will be awarded.

Note: This event is sanctioned by Ghana Athletics Association and it is open to all both professional and non professional athletes.
