GAF Officer Raja Lagble Loses Mother

Raja Lagble, one of Ghana’s best long-distance runners, has lost her mother, Athleticshour can confirm. According to an eye witness report, the sad tragedy occurred on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at exactly 4:00 a.m.

“A few days ago, my mother, Ednam Akpokli, was admitted to the Ho Regional Hospital. She passed away just a few days ago following a brief illness, Raja disclosed.

“I was called by my family and couldn’t wait, therefore I’m at the village right now,” he explained.

According to him, he is currently in the Volta Region, Ho, to carry out the required perequisites and procedures.

Raja is now stationed at the Western Naval Command in Sekondi-Takoradi, Western Region, as an officer in the Ghana Armed Forces.

The sports fraternity sends their condolences to the family especially our beloved brother Raja in this difficult time.
