The maiden edition of the Ghana Armed Forces Cross Country Championship is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th January 2022.

The GAF cross country is an open championship and everyone can register and take part.

Registration of the event has opened and is on going. Registration is free for all athletes.

The terrain of the route has been revealed by the race organisers.

The route is a full 2 km loop stretch from start to finish.

Note:

The females will cover a distance of 8 km

4 * 2 km = 8 km 

The males will also cover a distance of 10 km

5 * 2 km + 10 km

Accra has a different altitude in its areas but averagely Accra has a relative altitude of 50 metres above sea level.

Breaking News: Ghana Armed Forces X-Country Route Revealed

Every athlete is likely to cover an altitude of 80 metres for the women and 100 metres for the men above sea level.

Athletes are expected to run a very good race but check the nature of the route here.

This event is endorsed by the Ghana Athletics Association.
