GAF 2021: OFFICIAL LONG JUMP FULL RESULT BOTH CATEGORIES

The Long Jump event was a straight final in both categories. Ghana Armed Forces placed 1st and 2nd in the Women’s Long Jump. Dora Sosu jumped 5.26m ahead of her training partner and teammate Aba Amengu Sam. Aba finished second with a jumped of 4.79.

In the Men’s Long Jump Maxwell Peterson Wordui from the University of Ghana won in 7.01m while Samuel Addo finished second in 6.95m from Customs Excise and Preventive Service and George Appiah from Ghana Prisons Service placed third in 6.94m.

Sixtus Apapore from the Upper West Region was the only para-athlete and he competed in the men’s Long Jump and won it straightaway. He made an impressive leap of 6.49. Sixtus is preparing very well ahead of next season and the 13th African Games in 2023.
